Additive Manufacturing
Stride - A 3D Printed, User-Specific and Sustainable Crutch
Stride is a solution to the 75% of crutches lost, broken or abandoned in the UK, resuling in the NHS spending £14 million replacing them. It incorperates computational design methods to design, optimise and manufacture.
Product Design
Amazon Echo Redesign
The Amazon echo re-design was a short project undertaken as a source of developmen to explore more of keyshots capabilities and improve upon my skills within it.
The Massimo Collection
Imperial Bathrooms, partnered with Whiteville Ceramics, worked with Derby University to set an industry sponsored brief. This project was a competition which our group won!
Innovation Egg
As apart of our social design module in second year, we looked at Hubbubs Design by Nature competition. We designed an egg shaped vivarium inspired by biomimicry.
Razer Lumin
Inspired by the Razer nommo, a speaker from the same brand, I set out in this short project to develop a desk lamp and promote it simalar to how Razer promote their own products on their website.
Recyd - 100% Recycled Speaker
This short project focused heavily on creating my own material media. I also experimented with presentation and how to best show off a product.
Water Tester
Developed as apart of the UX Design module in my second year of study, the project involved developing our skills with arduino and app design.
Samsung Gear S3 Challenge
For this mini project, I set about choosing an item on my desk and recreating it in solidworks, using only one measuring tool. A ruler.
D30 Inspired Helmet
D30® is a brand specialising in impact protection applications such as in sport and defence. The purpose of this project was to take an existing brand and add to their product porfolio.
Rick and Morty - Lego Portal Gun
The lego project, taking place in first year, was set to develop skills using Solidworks and the Adobe suit. I designed a portal gun from the TV show Rick and Morty as a lego miniature figure.
